SITKA MEN'S MOUNTAIN VEST The Mountain Vest features an updated two-way stretch, deadly-quiet, brushed polyester face over 3-layer GORE-TEX INFINIUM with WINDSTOPPER Form Fit Technology. This delivers imperceptibly light and extremely durable protection on blustery days and in light precipitation. The two zippered hand pockets were designed to fit above your pack’s waist belt without bunching when carrying a heavy pack. Mountain Vest is a part of mid-season archery system. The Mid-Season Archery System is designed to deliver sound and scent suppression for stalking and close quarter engagements experienced below the treeline during mid to late fall. This skin-to-shell system delivers modularity with minimal noise: layer up to beat the cold or shed layers during the heat of the afternoon and high-output climbs. Mountain hunting comes with its own unique challenges: cold temps, biting wind, rain, and snow. To tackle these varied obstacles, hunters typically have to carry many different items while trying to maintain breathability and–more importantly–stealth and traditional soft shells were too heavy and not compressible. Our goal was to develop a single garment that would be fully windproof, water-resistant, lightweight and breathable all within a quiet face fabric.
